That's the answer to my previous question! I am able to read this poem and I recognize some words, but unfortunately I can neither understand the meaning nor hear the music..

I had to use google translate, and I'm sure it didn't translate it perfectly, but the parts that I've figured out sound awesome. :)

[I wasn't expecting this, probably not you what follows.]
I have to admit that sometimes I sumbmit here and there some of my greek works. I do this trying to find Greeks, as there is no search tool to find people based on the region, or other people who may speak greek like second generation immigrants. If administrators decline, I find it normal and I don't expect to spend time try to understand it. After all a translation can't be enough, even if the meaning is right there are mamy, many things you miss. In case the poem is a somewhat narrative, telling a story the result, as a meaning can sometimes be near. If it's not a narrative story the result usually sucks. This poem belongs to the first category so you are quite lucky.
But tell me what made you to try understand this??? Have you read, commented, "faved" anything else of my works? As far as I remember, No. I have other works that as an overall meaning or story have their corresponding in english. And I also have others keeping the exact meaning and the beat of the greek one, though it seems that I do grammar mistakes. Grabbing the chance I want to say to you and others who are reading that in all the cases of these twins it was always written first the greek one, except the pair ΓΙΑ ΤΗ ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΑ/FOR THE QUEEN.
If you are any of the administrators, I'll tell you sth that may dissapoint you and change your mind about me. I'm of the guys who are joining many many groups. I don't "beg" for points/llamas/comments/favs, I don't exchange watches/comments/favs, but I join groups, whereever there is space for poetry I join, even on advertising groups as even on these, there are chances that even one person may read my work. If I read stuff from al these groups? Yes, I read not on all, not always, but I read and I mean I really read. After all I am looking for stuff for my group Simply-TALES. I random check and 1-2 out of 50 grabs me. So if you are an administrator, don't expect to remember you. Who are you are so interested in this writing? In this old for me writing which also means sth for me? He is the oldest hero and father of all others followed, I've ever created, My Eternal Champion. As time passing and I have already finished what follows that you've probably read before this long message, I guess you may be the Beggar... As you understand I'm in mood... Why I'm doing this thing with the groups??? Well, maybe writing it's an inner push, but any kind of feedback is somewhat needed, at least on a later phase, otherwise you are less or more crazy. I'm writing since 1993 in greek, though I didn't keep those first works. It was too long and crazy like what you're reading right now. I started keeping some of my writings on November of 1996. I realised that with poetry I can tell myself what I want to keep while speaking to others and telling not more than I want them to know. You know my works are like a diary to me. Looking at old works with the dates brings to my mind memories more alive than any super-ultra-high definition photo or video. It's not really connected to the meaning, I mark dates and just a word is enough for me even when the whole subject is irrelevant. I started writing in english around 2000. I could never imagine that I would write sth so long as THE PRINCESS OF THE NORTH and people would like it. At some time my words became tales and the need for feedback growed, and I don't mean on deviantart. I tried to release them as poems, as lyrics, as mini booklets I was giving to some people, about 1 year back some of them were on facebook. I'll tell nothing more, about how simple people behaved, that that What I got back was not satisfying. I don't mean negative/positive, It wasn't enough. But I do have big complains from many somewhat called "professionals" in Greece, both for my greek and english works. Nobody ever answered!!! And then it came deviantart, 3 months ago. In the 1t month I realised that submiting simply to deviantart is not at all enough, especially if you are new and without friends. About 10 views and that's it. Only the really good can survive, if they are lucky enough. There is no way for middle or unlucky cases like me and many others. And then I "discovered" the groups. I don't know what happened and how things flowed, but why general groups were created at first place? It's like a deviantart in deviantart and no matter what I suppose that in the beginning members were "helping" each other. The way I started was simply searching into depth the categories I'm interested in and from groups I was checking just the ones that have a certain theme. Then I realised that there is no other way, the situation is this, but in the beginning should be restrictions in order to be avoided of the mess that now exists. So this is the case and this is what I do. Maybe I overdo this, but on the other hand I can't understand people saying they don't care at all. Then why they are on deviantart? Just to say to outsiders "I'm an underground artist and the system doesn't support me!" I mean the case of joining many groups follows a logical way of thinking, maybe dirty, but logical, The opposite edge what it's crazy, even though crazy it's logical for artists, this is crazy!!!!! Of course you may see a top deviant with 10000 views and 1000 favs which means 1/10 like him and another one with 1500 views and 150 which is again 1/10. Personally I consider as critical sample the number of 1000 views, after this the percentage remains steady in most cases so what the second case misses is more people to view and favs will eventually come. Of course I mean real views, of people really viiewing/reading.
So who are you my friend interested in this unknown piece, written in a foreign for you language, who tries to understand it???

It was never on my plans to try render in english Ο ΖΗΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΚΙ Ο ΛΗΣΤΗΣ, but as you spent time to do it on yourself, I own to you at least to try. You are again lucky as it's small, I'm in the mood and I have time.

Who are you my friend? Are you the Beggar? I'm not too young for this mistake any more and I'm lucky as I am not too old yet.
Are you the Beggar? You must be as you appeared at the right place, at the right mood, saying the right words!
Are you the Beggar?
Whoever you are, Thank you so much!!!!!!

The Beggar And The Robber

I run onto the mountain,
I'm faster than the wind

My thought is my Pythia,
My body is an armor

My dream it is my compass
And my faith it's my shield.

I hear a voice, trying to stop me,
He just asks some of my time

"Go Beggar, Leave my mind,
Up, a glow I run to find!"

But what I saw in the dark
Was not a sign or a star

The evil robber's was the thought,
The evil robber's, evil fox

He took me up onto his wings,
A joy's laugh onto his lips,

No arms, I had his fire,
And as shield I spelled his name.

Soulless corpses all my foes,
But no peace for me at all

Every night in the dark,
Voices old were stronger back.

Then again I start to run,
Even faster than I stand

To the mountain I run back,
To the friend my time asked,

The crazy Beggar, dared to stand.

Hehe I'm not an admin, friend. I'm just another user who joined love-writing and got a huge stack of watch messages as thanks:p. one of them was this poem. I don't know why I got interested. Partly I wanted to see if Siri could read Greek (I use an iPad, and I was assuming it was Greek ), also I looked at it and thought " I'll bet this is a good poem if I can figure out what it says." Maybe it's also that I like finding common ground with somebody who has a different language and culture.

Thanks for the watch and the llama too :).

My friend I don't why and how but fired up all the above words. I've been inspired again by other's words, but never so much and speaking more real I must say that when I started transfering some of my greek writings to english I couldn't even do write a satisfying beginning for this and as it really sth big to me I decided not to do this if I can't do it right. I can't tell how good this feels to me as it's too early, but yes it's satisfying, at least for the moment.
I must also tell that I copy-pasted all this to my journal. I never had any good idea for my journal, I believe this is it!

Again Thanks!!!
